ABOUT CAROL
Carol Olsen teacher, author, and owner of Gig Harbor Press offers workshops
to schools, libraries and bookstores. Carol has taught grades K-10, in a variety
of settings, from the West to the East Coast of the U.S. She has also taught
internationally via the internet. Her teaching is characterized by an interest
in the students as individuals. She inspires young people to generate unique
ideas, to embellish those ideas, and to publish their work.

RECENT EVENT
At "Taste of Camp Write-Away," writers learned recipes for writing. They improved their skills and explored publishing opportunities. Designing treasure trunks and filling them with clues sparked an interest in mysteries. Visit Camp Write-Away

Parents and teachers, it is also time to schedule school visits for the 2006-2007 school year. Carol is available for daytime and evening events. Fees vary with date, time, and service. Reserve a spot.
